The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a Technical Field Officer (Maternity Cover – Child Protection -Fixed Term Project).
Job Purpose:
Implement technical programs and plans and monitor work progress in accordance with the schedules established for this purpose, while ensuring the application of SOPs and NCFA procedures related to gender-based violence and child protection in accordance with national and Ministry of Education procedures. The technical field officer will Follow-up and coordinate with the technical supervisor and project manager to meet work requirements that ensure the technical and administrative implementation of the project objectives.
Major Responsibilities:
– Coordinate technical supervision plans with the direct technical supervisor.
– Working with the work team to prepare various technical reports for the project.
– Assist in the development of technical supervision plans for the work team, in collaboration with the technical supervisor and project manager.
– Ensure that the project forms approved by the project staff are used and filled out in order to achieve effective results in collaboration with the technical supervisor.
– Coordination with the technical supervisor, as well as follow-up saving of all project files on paper and electronically.
– Contribute to the development of project implementation mechanisms and methods, as well as updating project forms to reflect the nature of the work.
– Organizing and carrying out training and awareness sessions, workshops, and activities both inside and outside the Institute.
– Represent the Institute at meetings, courses, continuing education, and trainings in collaboration with the project manager and technical supervisor.
– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area
of expertise
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in psychology or psychological counseling or any related Field, Master’s degree is preferred.
– (3-5) years minimum experience in Psychology and psychological counseling in Child Protection.
Skills & Abilities:
– Good knowledge with child rights agreements.
– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.
– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.
– Strong communication, team building, and team player skills.
– Ability of working and understanding multicultural environments in which development and community engagement projects operate.
– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
Language Requirements:
– Profession English communication skills (both oral and written).
