We’re hiring: Civil Maintenance & Safety Engineer

Project: Educational Facilities Project

Location: Zaatari Camp for Refugees

We are looking for a Civil Maintenance & Safety Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil maintenance operations, ensuring structural safety, and implementing health and safety protocols across various project sites within the camp.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement maintenance plans for civil infrastructure.

Conduct inspections to assess structural integrity and safety compliance.

Supervise different maintenance activities for all facilities in our locations, including infrastructures of buildings, Wash units, and sanitation systems.

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and risk management protocols.

Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to manage materials and resources.

Provide technical guidance on site improvements and hazard mitigation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in civil maintenance and safety supervision.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations.

Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Key Skills:

Ability to analyze and interpret structural designs and blueprints.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other civil engineering tools.

Strong understanding of safety standards and emergency response planning.
