The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a Doctor (Fixed Term Project).
First Vacant Location: Zarqa
Second Vacant Location: East Amman
Job Purpose:
The doctor will be responsible for providing high-quality health services for patients that help patients and their families improve their health life.
Major Responsibilities:
– Receiving and greeting patients at clinic, taking medical notes, offering medical services, and prescribing appropriate treatment.
– Documenting and archiving patients’ medical treatments in private files.
– Educating parents and caregivers, as well as providing appropriate medical advice.
– Referring cases to internal and external specialized clinics as well as hospitals based on the patient condition.
– Follow up on requests for the purchase of health supplies and vaccinations.
– Assist in the development and execution of training materials, activities, awareness programs, means, and health campaigns both within and outside the Institute.
– Participate in attending meetings/courses/continuing education.
– Inform the Ministry of Health about infectious diseases.
– Supervising and managing the nursing staff working in the clinic.
– Ensure the validity of the medical devices used in the clinic.
– Carry out any other tasks and responsibilities assigned to by direct manager that fall within your area of expertise.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in medicine.
– (2-3) years minimum experience.
– Having the license to practice the profession from Jordanian Ministry of Health.
Skills & Abilities:
– Being Familiar with Jordan Medical Association laws.
– Good Knowledge of infection control conditions.
– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic
– Good Knowledge of the use and operation of medical equipment in one’s field of specialization
– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.
– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
– Good communication skills.
Language Requirements:
– Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).

Job Purpose:
The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality health services for patients that help patients and their families improve their health life.
Major Responsibilities:
Receiving and greeting patients at clinic, taking medical notes, offering medical nursing services.
Following up on and monitoring clinic requests for medical supplies, family planning methods, or immunizations.
Conducting individual and group health education workshops both within and outside of the clinic.
Participation in quality improvement committees and center activities.
Assist in the creation of instructional and awareness materials for health-related themes.
Planning and implementing medical home visits, training and awareness events, and workshops both inside and outside the Institute.
Documenting the patients’ information and keeping the files (paper) structured and accessible.
Gathering statistical data on the services offered at the clinic where he works, assessing the results, and providing technical and statistical reports on time.
Ensure the validity of the medical devices used in the clinic where he works.
Participate in attending meetings/courses/continuing education.
Inform the Ministry of Health about infectious diseases.
