Product Manager
The opportunityWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager to join our dynamic product team. The Junior Product Manager will support the development and management of our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about product development and eager to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.
Your role at OpenSooq includesProduct Development Support: Assist in the execution and delivery of product features and enhancements. Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and quality assurance.
Market Research: Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Analyze data to support product decisions and strategies.
Product Roadmap: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap. Help research and prioritize features and manage the backlog based on business and customer value.
Stakeholder Communication: Research, benchmark and liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns. Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the product lifecycle.
User Testing and Feedback: Support user testing efforts, gather feedback, and analyze results to inform product improvements and ensure the product meets customer expectations.
Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, requirements, and release notes. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance using key metrics and analytics. Assist in identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to drive product success.

We are looking for someone withBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business or a related field.1-2 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.Passion for technology and a keen interest in understanding user needs and market trends.
