DutiesThe incumbent reports to the Plant Room / Building Automation System (BAS) Team Leader.
The incumbent is employed as a Maintenance Mechanic – to monitor the delivery of fuel to Operating Lease (OL) properties as well as the compound.
In addition, the incumbent will carry out skilled maintenance and repair work on the critical and non-critical mechanical, carpentry and structural systems throughout the EOB (Embassy Office Buildings) for the Chancery North and South, and NOX (New Office Annex)) functional/office buildings, on-compound ancillary support and residential buildings, above and below ground infrastructures, recreational facilities, and other owned/leased properties.
The incumbent receives written or verbal request for maintenance services and ascertains all of the necessary information to determine whether the work is of a routine, immediate, or emergency nature.
Will complete assigned tasks within the allotted time established in the Collaborative Management Initiative (CMI) service standards, and according to International Building Code (IBC) standards.
Familiarization of general mechanical systems mechanical, carpentry and structural systems, swimming pool equipment, fire suppression systems, painting, carpentry, drywall, tile setting, and masonry compressed air systems, FEBR door/window frames and hardware and irrigation systems is required.
