Job Title: Regional Officer/ Inclusion (Jerash\Mafraq\Karak)
Contract Type: Limited Contract – Project-Based
Governorate: Jerash\Mafraq\Karak
Background:
JOHUD is one of Jordan’s oldest and largest NGOs, working with local communities for over 45 years in collaboration with regional and international donors, governmental bodies, and civil society organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
The Regional Officer supports the regional team in achieving objectives by assisting with community needs assessments, prioritizing interventions, and implementing the regional action plan. They coordinate with local partners to ensure smooth service integration, monitor program activities, collect data, and contribute to reporting. Key tasks include:
Mobilizing communities and forming committees.
Preparing monthly activity plans in coordination with UNHCR.
Reporting on program activities for JOHUD and donor requirements.
Monitoring field activities and financial claims related to committees.
Conduct home visits to assess individuals with disabilities (PWDs).
Follow up on activities of rehabilitation units and coordinate with the rehabilitation coordinator.
Identifying success stories within committees.
Coordinating with CBOs hosting committees.
Assisting in training, meetings, and events.
Conducting field visits and mapping out new CBOs.
Overseeing educational activities within committees.
Monitoring interventions for individuals with disabilities.
Entering and updating participant data accurately.
Education/Experience:
Education: special education, rehabilitation, or relevant field.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience with NGOs/INGOs/UN in development contexts.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
Languages: Fluent in Arabic, good command of English.
Additional Skills:
Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work under pressure with limited supervision.
High cultural adaptability and sensitivity.
Adheres to JOHUD’s code of conduct, child safeguarding, and PSEA.
