Job description:
Machine Operator – Secondary Packaging Department
Location: [Qastal-Freezone Plant]
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 0-2 years
Education: Diploma in Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a relevant major
Language Skills: Intermediate English: to read, write and understand English language
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Packaging Machinery: Efficiently operate and maintain secondary packaging machinery to ensure smooth production processes
Quality Control: Conduct regular inprocess checks to ensure products meet company standard procedures and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
Documentation: Accurately document and maintain packaging batch records and other required documentation including the SAP software
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues with packaging equipment to minimize downtime
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication
Training: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on new equipment and packaging procedures
Continuous Improvement: Ability to understand the performance measures

Job description:
Job Purpose:
Responsible for handling all types of sampling activities within the API manufacturing site, along with performing essential Quality Assurance (QA) responsibilities, such as managing pharmaceutical tailings and reference sample stocks.
Job-Specific Accountabilities:
Operational Responsibilities:
Follow departmental policies, SOPs, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work.
Conduct daily operations to maintain workflow continuity.
Verify and store returned materials that meet the required standards for reuse.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Assist in preparing quality reports in compliance with company policies.
Sampling & Handling Responsibilities:
Perform required sampling processes for:
Raw materials, packaging materials, and filtration elements (sending them to QC and reserving necessary samples).
Finished products, ensuring proper sampling, QC submission, and reservation.
Water, nitrogen, and compressed air from usage points in the plant.
Conduct physical checks during sampling and packaging.
Deliver products, materials, and components to packaging and production departments.
Conduct Cleaning Verification Sampling (both direct and indirect samples).
Quality & Compliance Responsibilities:
Handle pharmaceutical tailing waste from production and relevant departments.
Maintain and control the reference room, including receiving, issuing, and destroying reference samples per guidelines.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Perform other duties as assigned from the department supervisor / manager.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Medical Analysis, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
0-2 years of experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Good command of English (understanding & writing).
Strong communication skills.
