Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP) and ISO-9001. This role involves overseeing internal and external audits, risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement to uphold the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Quality Management System: Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in alignment with JFDA regulations, ISO-9001 standards, and company agreements.
– Audits & Compliance: Plan and conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
– Training & Development: Identify training needs, conduct internal training sessions, and foster a culture of quality awareness.
– Risk & Change Management: Lead risk assessments, manage deviations, non-conformities, corrective actions, and oversee change control processes.
– Vendor & Storage Compliance: Ensure vendor adherence to GSDP, oversee temperature validation, storage conditions, and product handling procedures.
– Customer Satisfaction & Complaints: Oversee customer complaints, conduct root cause analyses, and implement improvement measures.
– Recall & Counterfeit Management: Develop and implement recall procedures, ensuring prompt response and compliance with regulatory authorities.
– Product Release & Validation: Supervise product release from quarantine to saleable stock, ensuring all necessary quality checks are completed.
– Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the Quality Assurance team, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
– 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role.
– Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Expertise in qualification, calibration, thermal mapping, and risk assessment.
– Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
