Job Title: Executive Consultant

Location: Amman, Jordan

Position Overview: GHRI is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Consultant to provide strategic leadership and oversee the organization’s operations. This role requires a strong commitment to GHRI’s mission, exceptional leadership and management skills, and the ability to inspire staff, volunteers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

* Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with GHRI’s mission and long-term goals.

* Monitor organizational performance and ensure continuous improvement.

2. Operational Management

* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure effective program delivery and operational efficiency.

* Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and oversee resource allocation.

3. Fundraising and Financial Sustainability

* Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

* Secure funding through grants, donations, partnerships, and fundraising events.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding institutions.

* Represent GHRI as needed to build visibility and mobilize support.

4. Community Engagement and Partnerships

* Act as a key spokesperson for GHRI in the community and among partners.

* Build strategic partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, and the private sector to support collaborative initiatives.

5. Governance and Board Relations

* Collaborate closely with the executive committee and advisory board.

* Provide regular updates and recommendations to support effective governance.

* Contribute to policy development and strategic decision-making.

6. Compliance and Transparency

* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

* Uphold a culture of accountability and transparency in all operations.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

* Minimum of 7 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within the humanitarian or nonprofit sector.

* Proven success in developing fundraising strategies and securing diverse funding sources.

* Strong financial management, operational planning, and team leadership skills.

* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking abilities.

* Deep commitment to GHRI’s mission and values.
