We’re Hiring: Quality Assurance Engineer
• Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team.
The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring software quality through rigorous testing, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Roles & Responsibilities:- Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios, including security, penetration, and major software requirement tests.
– Execute all levels of testing: System, Integration, Regression, Usability, and End-to-End Business Scenarios.
– Perform functionality testing of new applications and enhancements to existing software.
– Analyze test results for database
impacts, errors, bugs, and usability issues.- Prepare detailed testing reports and communicate findings to the design/development teams.
– Participate in design reviews, providing input on requirements, product design, and potential risks.
– Validate user stories, use cases, and requirements for feasibility.
– Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure product quality.
– Design and develop automation scripts when needed.
– Detect, track, and manage software defects and inconsistencies.
– Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.- Conduct Web Services & API testing as well as Mobile application testing.
•Required Skills & Qualifications:- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.-
4+ years of experience in software testing
– Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (a plus).- Strong understanding of at least one database management system.
– Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
– Hands-on experience with testing techniques and cross-platform compatibility.
– Working knowledge of automation, QA tools, and programming concepts.
– Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.- High attention to detail with a strong desire to learn.
• Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
