The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a Doctor (Fixed Term Project).
Job Purpose:
The doctor will be responsible for providing high-quality health services for patients that help patients and their families improve their health life. Major Responsibilities:
– Receiving and greeting patients at clinic, taking medical notes, offering medical services, and prescribing appropriate treatment.
– Documenting and archiving patients’
medical treatments in private files. – Educating parents and caregivers, as well
as providing appropriate medical advice. – Referring cases to internal and external
specialized clinics as well as hospitals
based on the patient condition. –
Follow up on requests for the purchase of health supplies and vaccinations.
– Assist in the development and execution of training materials, activities, awareness programs, means, and health campaigns both within and outside the Institute.
– Participate in attending meetings/courses/continuing education. – Inform the Ministry of Health about infectious diseases.
– Supervising and managing the nursing staff working in the clinic
. – Ensure the validity of the medical devices used in the clinic.
– Carry out any other tasks and responsibilities assigned to by direct manager that fall within your area of expertise. Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in medicine. – (2-3) years minimum experience.
– Having the license to practice the profession from Jordanian Ministry of Health. Skills & Abilities
: – Being Familiar with Jordan Medical Association laws. – Good Knowledge of infection control conditions.
– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic
– Good Knowledge of the use and operation of medical equipment in one’s field of specialization
– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.
– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
– Good communication skills.
Language Requirements: – Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
