QUALITY CONTROL (QC) SPECIALIST

7+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct and perform analytical research and testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Ensure all products and materials comply with approved specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
Review and evalu
ate laboratory test results and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Investigate and follow up on OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), deviations, and non-conformities.
Implement and follow up on CAPA and corrective actions related to quality control activities.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintain and review SOPs, specifications, test methods, QC records, and laboratory documentation.
Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production, R&D, Warehouse and Regulatory Affairs departments.
Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
Monitor laboratory hygiene, safety, and good laboratory practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to QC team members and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, preferably within the pharmaceutical, dietary supplements, food, or natural products industry.
Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, HACCP, and ISO 22000 requirements.
Good understanding of JFDA regulations and applicable quality standards.
Practical experience in testing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Strong knowledge of OOS, OOT, Deviations, CAPA, and quality investigations.
Good command of Microsoft Office; ERP/LIMS experience is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, lead QC activities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
