المسمى الوظيفي:
Regional Lead and Senior Capacity Building Officer.
Summary of Responsibilities
Serve as core member of project leadership team responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership to the project, including a large consortium and government/private sector partners.
Facilitate collaboration with IREX’s consortium, and key stakeholders, including youth-led and youth-serving organizations, local government officials and private sector partners, as well as other donors and implementers, particularly in assigned region(s).
Develop collaborative, supportive, and mutually respectful relationships with diverse team members, with other leaders at IREX, and with leaders at key stakeholder and partner organizations.
Oversee project activities in assigned region(s), including support to implementing partners and inputs to monitoring, evaluation, and learning and reporting. Ensure project activities are implemented on schedule and within budget.
In collaboration with DC-based Capacity-Building Officer, oversee global capacity-building approach for youth-led and youth-serving organizations and groups in line with project technical goals, performance improvement methodologies, and USAID’s New Partnership Initiative.
Collaborate with the gender and inclusion team to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in capacity-building.
Oversee private sector engagement strategy for assigned region(s).
Supervise, manage, and mentor project staff in assigned region(s), including leading recruitment.
In collaboration with DC-based grants team, oversee management of subawards portfolio, including obtaining IREX and USAID approvals, USG reporting and compliance, and compliance with IREX policies and procedures for assigned region(s).
Ensure that grantmaking policies and procedures are streamlined and realistic; oversee subgranting processes that minimize bureaucracy and ensure compliance.
