Industrial Company in Amman – Jordan is looking for IT NETWORK & SECURITY ENGINEER as following:
Responsibilities
•Install network hardware, peripherals, services, settings, etc. in accordance with standards and operational requirements. (Switches, Servers, Firewalls, Voice & Data, Advanced Connectivity, Security Services, Cloud, Mobility, and all datacenter components).
•Planning and implementing various Lan/Wan/Wireless network solutions related to the project and related systems for performance improvement and security.
•Performing analysis, reporting on network/system applications related to the suite of applications
•Install, configure, and maintain Cisco and FortiGate Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and other security appliances related to the network infrastructure
•Install, configure, and maintain load balancers related to the network infrastructure, data center physical networking and communication management
•Develop and maintain enterprise documentation and architecture network and security diagrams.
•Monitor and make any necessary repairs utilizing available network tools before they cause network outages.
•Monitor and maintain VPN gateways and any other related equipment and services.
•Review, analyze, and execute network change requests.
•Adhere to the company’s change management process and procedures for efficient use and handling of all resource changes (Hardware, software, service and data) to minimize the impact of Change-related faults
•Implement LAN/WAN maintenance and management procedures.
•Able to handle private and confidential information with physical and ethical care.
Skills / Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
•Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing It Infrastructure environment.
•Cisco Certifications (Cisco CCNP)
•Strong L3 troubleshooting.
•Hands-on experienced in managing technologies such as HP, Juniper, Cisco, Fortigate, Barracuda, Incapsula.
•Experience in security and compliance standards like ISO 27001.
•Hands on experience with routing (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IGRP) and switching on Cisco and HP devices
•Expertise in using various monitoring, management, and capacity planning tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Zabbix etc.
•ITIL Foundation
•Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
•Experience in telecom technologies (Voice & Data, Advanced Connectivity, Security Services, Data Centre & Cloud, Mobility & Applications)
•Very good experience in VMWare, VCentre, Network and/or Storage
•Experience applying security policies and procedures
•TCP/IP networking including IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT
•WINS, DNS, and DHCP, Network troubleshooting
•Microsoft OS and Server technologies
•Backup and disaster recovery methodologies, Patch management technologies and processes, Wireless protocols, and services.
