Job Announcement: (Maintenance Supervisor)
A leading industrial company in Jordan is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to perform the following tasks:
1. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, repairing equipment, obtaining specialist components, maintaining statistical and records, creating maintenance procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
2. Evaluates mechanical systems, components, and applications; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
3. Collect and entry of data necessary to update the facility and equipment management archive.
4. Prompt notification of spare part requirements on the basis of programmed activities and operating conditions, to compensate deviations from routine and special maintenance demands.
5. Confirms mechanical systems and components capabilities by testing and follow up.
6. Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
7. Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
• BSc Electrical / Mechanical Engineer
• 3-5 years’ minimum work experience.
• Physical Requirements:
• Unimpaired speech, hearing and sight (continuous)
• Postural changes such as sitting, reaching, climbing, standing, walking and lifting.
