Job Description and Requirements

1.  Purpose of the Position:

The Facilities Marketing Consultant is expected to help in boosting GFP’s revenue by ensuring a high volume of bookings for GFP’s facilities are secured and increase the occupancy level to the highest target possible and efficient GFP facilities booking. The Facilities Marketing Consultant will act as a key focal point with potential customers, suppliers, and clients to achieve previously agreed specific target. Moreover, s/he is expected to support the events management planning and its implementation as needed.

2.  Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing:

  • Increase the occupancy level and facilities booking numbers for all GFP facilities.
  • Hold responsibility to expand GFP revenue and achieve the target.
  • Make the needed calls and prepare for visits for potential clients to promote GFP facilities
  • Prepare Sales and Marketing plan with specific target on Quarterly basis.
  • Conduct regular Marketing meetings with potential clients as needed.
  • Participate in GFP marketing preparation as needed and advice to on how to boost GFP revenue and marketing strategy and ability to apply high-quality annual marketing plan.
  • Develop and review GFP marketing tools.
  • Maintains GFP Management’s guidelines of approach used.
  • Proactively develop a high profile for GFP on a national level.

Events Management:

  • Supporting in planning, budgeting, execution, and evaluation of all Events to ensure cost-effective high-quality.
  • Liaising with Creative Design & Digital Engagement Specialist for any design/production needed for Events.
  • Supporting on protocol arrangements for VIP visitors to Jordan or GFP HQ, (including VIP airport meet and greet, security liaison, Royal Court liaison, etc. as needed).
  • Informing the Administration team of any required maintenance

3. Key Results Areas:

  • Increase GFP hosted events by %100.
  • Boost Revenue generated per year for JOD100,000.
  • Liaise with Potential partners in signing long term contracts and plans for different events
  • Supports the events management planning and its implementation as needed

5. Education, Qualifications, Competences, Skills Required:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum, in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major.
  • 4-6 years’ professional experience in sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; facilities and events marketing experience preferred; of which 4 years of international experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Jordan Market and Marketing culture.
  • Proven experience as marketing consultant or similar role and Knowledge of data analysis and market research
  • Excellent spoken and written English, and in particular top quality written English communications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to coordinate across different GFP events
  • Excellent computer skills (documents/spreadsheets/databases/presentations/multi-media/calendars/email)
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of different interpretations of communications/marketing approaches in different global, regional, and local contexts
  • In-depth knowledge of facilities marketing principles and best practices.
  • High level analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people.
  • Patient, adaptable, flexible, able to improvise and remain responsive and communicate clearly and effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent planning, management, and coordination skills
