Senior IT Governance Analyst

“We are looking for an analytically minded, passionate, and driven Senior IT Governance Analyst to join our Jordan Kuwait Bank team. You are responsible for developing and implementing our IT Operating Model and Processes Framework. Do you have profound IT technology knowledge combined with deep critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills? We are looking forward to meeting you!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to implement governance frameworks like COBIT, ITIL, etc…
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework such as COBIT is applied across the bank.
  • Review and enhance the current process designs and discuss recommendations with concerned teams.
  • Oversee implementation of IT governance and management processes
  • Ensure alignment between IT strategy and business strategy
  • Measuring Key performance indicators of IT processes
  • Oversee IT expenses according to the budget plan
  • Monitor execution of IT projects and ensure that the benefits are achieved  
  • Governance changes over IT systems
  • Governance of IT incidents and problems
  • Monitor implementation processes of IT procurements, contracts management, and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure the Implementation of IT controls
  • Ensure adaption of the latest technology in the local and international market

Job Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IT governance, Information security, IT Audit, or any related field
  • Familiar with Information Security, Data Privacy, Information Systems Audit requirements, and other IT risk management or due diligence practices
  • Familiar with project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT service management framework, as well as IT, support functions
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance functions
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture / IT Architecture is a plus
  • Knowledge of data Management/data Governance frameworks is a plus
  • Knowledge of Information Security / cyber security frameworks is a plus
  • Certified COBIT, ITIL, CISA, or any related certification

Project Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a Project Manager, who plans, establishes, and manages information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects, and coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving the bank’s projects and timeline.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  2. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  3. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  4. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  5. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  7. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  8. Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  9. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  10. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
  11. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  12. Develop and manage the work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects.

Requirements and skills:

  1. Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
  2. Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector.
  3. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  4. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  5. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  6. PMP certification is a plus.
  7. Good knowledge of IT and excellent skills in documentation and presentation.
  8. Optimizes Work Processes.
  9. Builds strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  10. Experience in at least one of the following fields: Payment systems, card projects, ACH, RTGS & Swift services.
