Job Description
Managing the material requirement planning and overseeing the inventory management and the Master Production Schedule in addition to the continuous review and adjustment of the demand plan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage material requirement planning, determination the necessary resources needed to meet the customer orders and production plan.
Responsible for balancing the supply and demand of finished goods to ensure targeted Customer service level and Inventory targets.
Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce aging material
Responsible to convert the Rolling sales forecast into monthly plans.
Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of raw materials from suppliers to support manufacturing in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts.
Develop and lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Single point of contact for all the business functions (Marketing / Sales / Production)
Maintaining right level of Inventory considering production constraints and demand variations.
Control phase in phase out of materials during launches.
Manage a Master Production Schedule for designated products and locations.
Assist in the review and adjustment of demand plan with internal stakeholders.
Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries; partner with Order Management to resolve any admin/order error(s).
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
2+ years of professional experience in supply chain planning, manufacturing planning, inventory control, demand planning, or other supply chain function.
Knowledge and experience with ERP software system & MS packages (Excel, Word, etc…).
Good command of English language (writing, reading, speaking)
