Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description and responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Responsible for testing of an entire product across mobile apps, web, and APIs
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse testing activities simultaneously.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug report
- Develop test plans, scenarios, and test cases for functional, regression, and system-level test activities against product requirements for mobile, API, and web applications
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in the same field
- Extensive experience in testing for Web, APIs, Mobile applications (iOS & Android).
- Extensive experience for backend testing APIs at-least in one (Rest Assured, Postman, SOAPUI)
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion to learn new processes and automation testing.
- Have the ability to interact with a variety of developers in a tight-knit team as well as other internal teams.
- Ability to meet commitments and multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be a great Team Player and exhibit a positive attitude.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
