Job description:
Summary: The Hikma US Financial Reporting – Senior Accountant applies principles of accounting and analyzes financial information to assist with preparing the Hikma US consolidated financial statements by performing and reviewing certain monthly close responsibilities. Additionally, the Hikma US Financial Reporting – Senior Accountant is a strategic professional who contributes by adding value through overseeing certain financial reporting responsibilities and improves current processes. This individual will have exposure to full financial results and will participate in various projects and initiatives (including systems and reports used in the execution of financial reporting controls).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Has full responsibility for the preparation of certain (1) monthly-closing tasks, (2) General Ledger journal entries and (3) account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and supplemental schedules for reporting to Corporate (including the SAP BPC consolidation and review of the reporting package to Hikma Corporate).
- Full responsibility of reviewing / validating the completeness and accuracy of cash, payroll, prepaid and accrual journal entries for purposes of month-end reporting.
- Collaborate with business partners for purposes of analyzing income statement fluctuations on a monthly basis and report on variances.
- Play a key role in reviewing technical accounting guidance, as it relates to the accounts assigned, and work with the Hikma US Accounting team to validate accurate financial reporting.
- Ownership of maintaining and enhancing Hikma’s documentation of internal processes and controls.
- Coordinate requests with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain a questioning mindset to analytically review and challenge the accuracy of support for journal entries and account balances.
- Reviews accounting policies and procedures and, as needed, recommends process improvements (including automation and operational efficiencies).
- Other special projects as assigned

bachelor’s in accounting.
- Qualified candidates should have experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP/SAP BPC.
- Education : Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting positions, with some experience in a manufacturing environment.
