Title: Nurse
Description:
- Policies, Processes & Procedures : Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Day- to-day operations : Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Job Specific Accountabilities : Performs nursing assessment for employees who are ill or injured to ensure providing them with adequate health care.
– Applies follow-up with employees to ensure efficacy of interventions and directives
– Implements health promotion initiatives including health screenings, health assessments and health[1]related counselling/education to ensure they are carried out efficiently.
– Develops long term relationships with employees to create confidence and trust in the care and/or advice provided.
– Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of all health information to protect patient information.
– Coordinates testing including as necessary pulmonary function testing, audiometric testing, vision screening to ensure that accurate and efficient health screening tests are provided.
– Works collaboratively with other health care providers and community agencies to ensure access and continuity of care for employees.
- Continuous Improvement : Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Reporting : Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of administration to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Safety, Quality & Environment : Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Related Assignments : Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
- QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Minimum Experience: 0-2 years’ experience in practicing nursing.
